Sailing Unites 24 Nations In Doha
Doha Sailing Club, on behalf of the Qatar Sailing and Rowing Federation is hosting an ISAF Level 2 Technical Course for Coaches this week, designed to Train the Trainers of nine separate ISAF Member Nations.

The first ISAF Instructor training programme (Level 1 Technical Course for Coaches) was run in the Cayman Islands last week, with eight local candidates taking part and successfully completing the course.

Cape Town Is First Stopover Port For Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12
The racetrack for the upcoming Volvo Ocean Race, due to start from Alicante in Spain in the autumn of 2011, is now set and the first port of call will be Cape Town, South Africa, making its eighth appearance as host to this premier ocean race.

Following on from decisions taken at the ISAF Annual Conference, the ISAF Sailor Classification Code is changing and starting from 1 April 2010, the category of Group 2 sailors will be eliminated.
