Welcome to the new touraid Newsletter. touraid is a charity that through rugby helps enhance the lives of youngsters overseas with the opportunity to tour the UK for a week, experience a different culture and embrace hope and new opportunities for the future. Through the host schools, parents and their children legacies are developing that allow children to believe that they can have a better future. To date, touraid has hosted 24 different tours from 19 countries. touraid is giving children a chance to tour for a week and make friends for a lifetime.

Tullow Oil touraid Cup
In October touraid is hosting its second major tournament involving 11 countries, making up ten teams, playing one sport. Teams of U13 year old boys from around the world are being hosted by schools in Surrey and will play in ten teams comprising a mix of touring and host pupils. The tournament takes place on two days. The round robin stages will be held at Cobham Rugby Club on Thursday 9th October and the final will take place on Saturday 11th October at Esher Rugby Club.
